I'm a professional circus artist, specialized in juggling, acrobatics and dance. In my work I combine different artistic disciplines with each other and challenge me and my partners to push the interaction as far as possible. Entertaining and always surprising.
Duo Mucirque is a new and innovative combination of a circus artist and a guitar player. When these two very different characters suddenly meet, they have to find a way to get along, to share the space – to adapt to each other and each other’s needs. Slowly approaching each other they start merging together until you will wonder if music and circus are really so different or if it is not one of the same kind after all. Duo Mucirque is the innovative combination of a circus artist and a guitar player. In 25 minutes, the musician and the circus artist, guitar and juggling, man and woman start to get to know each other and show with fun and sensitive humor the similarities – but also the differences and difficulties – between different disciplines and personalities; breaking all the expectations. In her act "Dealing With The Dark" the artist creates a world in which she deals with inner strength and the animalistic instincts everybody is carrying inside himself. She combines high technical juggling with her own dance and movement research to a strong and powerful performance. The result is a show, which convinces with its energy, and with a performer who takes over the stage as well as the audience and won’t let go anymore. Until the very last second.
