Artist and freelance illustrator from Caracas, residing in Madrid, Spain. I focus on human figure and portraits, but a few of my works move away from that, towards (for example) twisted bonsai trees. I do murals, paintings on commision (digital and traditional) with powerful colors and contrast.
Murals with energy and artistic quality, never two the same. I work following a loose guideline, but often drift and let the piece tell me where to go. I can work in black and white, ressembling my more personal ink pieces, or go full color for some fun. Portraits and bonsai trees are my specialty, but I'm always excited to explore new concepts!
My ink and acrylic pieces are super personal and can display a range of emotion while capturing a moment. On my free time I sketch people while riding trains, so you can get that loose feeling of a fleeting moment, or I can sit down and go to work on a more complex acrylic piece, with dynamism and intensity.
Like my portraits performed traditionally, I try to maintain the same intensity and my strokes immitate the naturalistic nature of a brush. Digital tool however can provide an added sense of depth, which can be even more appreciated via artistic and hand signed limited prints.
