My name is Josh Cohen. Lead artist of PDA, a small team of artists and fabricators, based out of the Catskill Mountains in NY. Specializing in large scale interactive and kinetic art, we are a group of thinkers, and innovators. Here to make you question the unexplainable and open up your mind.
These larger than life spinning "pinwheels" (as they are commonly referred to as!), are fully interactive. Participants spin the large sculptures, then step back and enjoy the magical array of mandalas and ever changing sacred geometrical patterns. The effect is utterly tantalizing, meditative, and awe inspiring. We have featured these sculptures at events large and small, such as Burning Man and Electric Forest.
