Swinging!Funky!Sweet!Funny: Many attributes describe JazzTuon. The duo consists of the charismatic singer Nina and Jazz Pianist Tobi Till, although their roles are not fixed. Nina uses other unusual instruments, such as the Kalimba or, she steps up to play the piano while Tobi plays the trumpet or trombone. JazzTuon plays swing, contemporary jazz and experiment with different grooves and sounds. Interesting, yet easy digestible feel-good music for a big stage or the background of a party.
When a virus hit earth and they were forced to stay at home in quarantine there was nothing to do but nonsense! The audience has the chance to create their own song by writing beautiful, ugly, funny, sad and nonsense words on a lot and putting it in a voting box. The Duo will create a song out of two random chosen words and they''ll spin the wheel of music styles to chose a style of music. Everything is improvised live in front of the audience! This is what makes every show unique and special!
What happens if Weill meets Hollaender and Neumann? Different characters meet slightly disturbing compositions, that not only make you think, but laugh and cry! In her solo-performance “Im Theater ist was los” Nina breathes life into “the boards that mean the world” in a very musical and charming manner. The magic of German cabaret in a one-hour play offers a view on the wacky life behind the curtain, which even non-regular theatergoers can enjoy.
