I'm visual artist originally from Italy. My work focuses on experimenting with different kinds of materials. For my creations, I prefer urban environments that are in direct contact with the social fabric.
Signal tape installation
I realize site specific installations with signal tape. It's also called a barrier tape and it should be used to warn people about a possible hazard. In 2013 I started to use it in art installations in which I delimited protected natural beach areas. Today you can see the evolution of this idea in which I apply the adhesive material in different kind of environments.
Adhesive portrait
I realize colored adhesive portraits in different sizes playing on various kind of surfaces from outdoor walls to indoor. I decided to open this series of works in Berlin at Tape Art Convention 18. I capture people who greatly influenced growth in society, specially minorities. Shirley Chisholm was the first African-American women elected in the United States congress in 1968, she follows her goals travelling through a hard road.
