Belle Etage - Street theater based in Vienna, is an international touring street theater company working since 2010. We produce street theater shows, such as walking theater acts, interventions in public spaces and custom-made performances for any kind of outdoor events.
During the workshop, we will explore different techniques of integrating the given structures of the public space into our movements and will create a performance at each workshop´s end. The Workshop will be held outside and can be between 4 and 12 hours for a maximum of 12 participants. Sabine Maringer, the workshop leader, holds a master´s degree in performing public space and is a drama teacher and a performer herself.
Tango? Si, Tango is the first street tango walk act in Europe. Tango is her passion, it just does not always work out with the big show. There is always something in between, sometimes a car, then a baby carriage or just their own legs, which do not want to work as they should and the love ... yes the love for tango sometimes goes so far that they simply can´t stop asking people for a dance ... Tango must go on?
